Local, hands-on IT from someone who does the work.

Amy Kohler

I've worked in IT for 30 years across healthcare, financial services, government and managed service providers, and I hold a B.S. in Information Technology. Along the way I've run the systems small businesses rely on every day: Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365, Active Directory, identity and certificate services, migrations and the PowerShell automation that keeps them running.

I started Kohler Technology Solutions to bring that same care to small businesses: setting things up properly the first time, writing down how they work, and explaining it plainly. I also build and supervise AI agent systems for my own work, so when I recommend AI for your business, it comes from using it under real controls, not from a sales deck.

Those industries taught me to treat security, privacy and documentation as part of the job, not extras. Your business gets the same discipline, sized to your budget.

How I work

• Written scope first. You know what you're getting and what it costs before any work starts.
• Your approval before changes. Nothing is changed in your systems without your OK.
• You keep the documentation. Every engagement ends with notes your next IT person can follow.
• Local. Based in Belleville and available on-site across the Metro East, or remotely.
